Local World Gallery is host to over 20 fantastic artists. Judy Anderson's pottery is prominently featured and is something to behold. Her sgraffito carved images of birds, plants and animals - including Eagles - are delightful, charming and accurate. The walls of the gallery are lined with paintings of recognizable river-town and rural scenes from Stockholm to La Crosse by the late John Meyer of Pepin, WI. Also see stunning Driftless scenes by regional superstar, Plein Air Oil Painter, Hannah Heyer. You will find beautiful silk scarves and up-cycled mittens, wood turnings, soaps, lotions and more.

I make wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery. I utilize the ancient technique of sgraffito to decorate the wares. I hand-draw, carve, shape and scratch images of wildlife, wildflowers, and insects into my pottery. I never use stencils. My favorite subjects are owls, otters, and dragonflies. Some customer favorites include monarchs, bald eagles, and bats.
