InstagramI started carving over 40 years ago after attending several wildlife art shows. I was inspired by the decoy carvings I saw so I had to give it a try! I started carving decoys, but since I've always enjoyed watching songbirds it was an easy decision to try carving them as well. There is nothing better than being in my countryside studio with the doors wide open watching, carving and painting what I see in nature whether it be a little Chickadee or a Bald Eagle!
