InstagramAfter retiring as a sales rep in the art industry I am living my dream with my new studio high above the bluffs of Lake Pepin. While I have carved many songbirds over the last 40 years, one of my favorite challenges is to take a block of wood and whittle it down to a delicate lifelike feather. A good day is sitting in my countryside studio with the doors wide open, watching, carving, and painting what I see, whether it be a tiny little chickadee or a bald eagle!
